just double checking that we have what we need gear wise as I didn't see some items in the offers from Spyker. would be good to have at least 5 SM58s and a pair of sm57s if we want to mic up some amps. we will also need plenty of DI boxes. Then obviously a box full of cables.

if we can get an idea of what bands are bringing before hand that will help a lot with change overs. Please keep in mind that switching between DJs just on stereo DI is quick and simple, but it would be nice to allow more time before bands so we can at least give them a workable monitoring mix.

I was just doing this on EMF. It worked pretty well although we need to make sure we have enough experienced sound techs and maybe find some time to let them familiarise themselves with the Midas consoles.

best regards,

This really should become a three-way conversation between the Setup people, Music Stage team and Productiehuis on what is feasible on what stages. We as team content have little to contribute here, other than that we don't want to lose much in the way of main stage slots due to build-up and tear-down of the musical bit. @Chris This also reminds me that we should include the Music Stage in our programming, will look into ways to give you direct access to PretalX for doing so.
