Hi Xu,
Sure! I'll list them per question:
- Are you in charge of buildup and teardown?
- Yes
- How many teams and volunteers do you need and expect on which day?
- This is a bit difficult to answer, and we have two answers for
you depending on the use case of this information:
- Starting day -5 (Thu 31-07) we think everyone that wants can show
up, and we definitely have work for everyone that realistically will be
there. Before that the amount of work is limited but non-zero. So if
people are asking when to come tell them -5, unless you think they know
exactly what they are doing then -6 a handful would useful as well.
- Team:Terrain probably shows up on day -8, but we don't think that
anyone else will really be there.
- For food planning purposes we have some rough predictions of the
number of people we expect to be there including teams and angels: On
Sunday (-4) we expect around 75 people and on Tuesday we expect around
200 people. These are guestimations on our part, but maybe it helps us
align expectations.
- Do you keep an overview of activities during buildup?
- Yes, for the stuff that we have an influence on
- Example: No for precise deco things; Yes for flatterbanding,
or tent building
- If you need a complete list let us know then we can try giving
you a list of what is to be done on certain days so the volunteers
showing up on a day have an idea of what to expect.
- Does it make sense to have for instance two short meetings per day to
connect acivities with volunteers?
- I don't know exactly what you mean with this question: In case
you mean meeting with the angels: In the morning there will be start of
day announcements to the angels and we will use this for communication.
- In case it's about communication with Team:Volunteers: We think
fixed meeting once a day may be sensible, but we will communicate new
tasks that need to be done to you online (in the algorithmic sense), so
there will just have to be a lot of walking into each others 'office'
- Contact information? Will you have a call group?
- During early build-up there will be no dect, therefore we will
use radio and one of us will probably always be manning our 'office', so
one can find us
Let us know if you have any further questions!
Best,
Gina
