[why2025-terrain] Fwd: Suggested edit as discussed?

Dear future friends of team terrain,

We haven't had the honour to meet yet but my name is Roxane (koffie) and
I'm the mayor of Area 42/DIVD cluster .Dimitri told me he had a hard time
to get in touch to make sure the fences are both secure, but also
accessible for him and Jick so they can refuel the flames.
Up until now he has not received (or missed) a reaction to his proposition.
How can we fix this?

When we talked about it Dimitiri told me "I've painted the fence red in
Paint, and possibly a blue gate that can open and close, or a crowd control
barrier, but then it might become too easy to just walk onto the dike.
But if they can at least run the red fences all along the bridge and extend
them up to the top (the other gate), then the area is completely closed off
to outsiders.
Jick and I can still get through the blue gate with a Gator to refill the
flames every day (dragging 250L of diesel along the entire length of the
dike is no fun)."

I would very much appreciate a reaction on short term because well, we'll
be there next week haha so thanks in advance!!

Hi lovely people of team terrain!

It was awesome meeting you in real life yesterday (Rox, Gina and Niene)!
(And Ofcourse RedLizard but i know him already for a long time).

As discussed would it be possible, although not official festival terrain,
to have some text on the dyke to say Project Firewall or something like
that as in my beautifully (ahem) crafted MsPaint picture that is attached.
And maybe in red/yellow to indicate it is a hazardous area (or depict the
following sign: https://www.thecompliancecenter.com/ca/product/pl-mgb02/ )
which indicates flammable liquids.

And also, if possible, could you edit the gates at the bridge as in red and
blue?
This way it is possible for me to open the blue part and have access to the
dyke from the festivalterrain, yet it is impossible for outsiders to enter
through red part of the fencing onto the dyke as that is a very dangerous
environment to be in (especially after dark ;-) )

@Jick van Wijhe <jickvanwijhe at gmail.com>  you agree with this proposal? I
do need access to refill. But don't want a way for outsiders to come in.
And placing the gates against the bridge and partly in/touching the water
makes it also impossible to walk under the bridge onto the dyke.
