Hey Team Productiehuis,
I'm Noah, and I'm on the entertainment/music team for WHY 2025. I've been
asked to play the role of "liasing" with your team - so I figured I'd drop
a message so we can start working out what's what.
First up - I apologise if we've been a little slow in getting into contact.
There's no "prior" members on the entertainment team who've volunteered in
this role at previous dutch hacker camps, so, it's taken a little while for
us to catch up with what's going on and what needs doing. This may also
explain why some of our questions might seem "wrong" or lacking in context.
>From our side, I think there's a few questions bubbling around in our mind:
- Do you have a better idea than we do about how many "stages" the
entertainment team is expected to provide scheduling/booking/some
responsibility for? I have the feeling that the number is "1" but I wanted
to double check that you hadn't heard differently.
- What information do you need from us in regards to the AV dry hire ? I
imagine you are already starting to put this together/go out for quotes, so
I want to make sure that you've got all the information you need from us
for this and that you're not stuck waiting around for us!
- We've had some mentions from the bar team that they'd appreciate music
from the stage playing in the bars, is that currently planned/technically
feasible with your plans? Unsure if WHY2025 runs something Dante-esque like
is done at EMF.
I'm happy to join a voice meeting, or, chat on IRC/matrix if this is
preferred.
