besides the robot, we are all very enthusiastic about the new theater 
play of SETUP, they want to have a call because it's only short time, to 
see if we can work together to realize it. link:

they asked to have a call, Stitch, can you do that? or find out how/if 
we can realize this?

"Thanks for the reply on one hand good to hear that our proposal is 
still in the running for MCH2022.
However - because or proposal entails a small theatre production -  for 
us it’s difficult to start preparation without knowing if there is a 
suitible venue at MCH2022 to play.
In our proposal I mentioned that we are flexible and happy to think in 
opportunities instead of limitations but two weeks is a to shot of a 
notice for us to realise this.

Abstract: The Silicon Passion  - Some weeks ago we - SETUP - received an 
goodie bag for the upcomming MCH conference. We really like this 
festival and - although we are a bit late -  we still would like to 
participate during this festival. One of the projects we want to propose 
is to play "the Silicon Passion"  we premiered this year in 
Utrecht.Here’s a link to a short teaser of the performance:

long: The performance’s form is a bit fluid. It’s a mix of live music 
(adaptations of Bach’s St Matthews Passion), theatrical dialogue, 
glitchy virtual characters. Different parts are mediated through 
different modalities. We call it a tech-performance.

We created it in collaboration with musician & producer Rodrigo Ferreira 
and theater collective De Transmissie.  It’s the result of our artistic 
research that we started together last year, in which we’ve researched 
society’s difficult relationship with Big Tech.

Bit of context: we saw parallels with the themes of scapegoating, 
punishment, and remorse surrounding Big Tech and the ones in the 
biblical story of the Matthäus Passion. So we were wondering: what 
inspiration can the Mattheus Passion give us for ‘penance’ and 
‘forgiveness’ for Big Tech? How will we shape this in our tech-saturated 
society? Or: what would happen if we crucify Big Tech?
Hence the name “the Silicon Passion”.

If this would be possible there will be some challenges in finding a 
right venue on the camping ground however  we think the audience of MCH 
would be the perfect audience for this performance.

We would love to explore is this would be a possibility
